Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryce Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Babcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reynolds comes to the cage accompanied by It's Raining Men -The Weather Girls. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bryce Reynolds!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kyle Babcock!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babcock thows a body shot but no joy.
Reynolds is looking to clinch but Babcock is avoiding it.

Reynolds closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Babcock to the mat! Babcock manages to get full guard.
Babcock working a defensive guard here.
Babcock is pulling down on Reynolds's head to control his posture.
Reynolds with a flurry of punches that miss.
Reynolds in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Reynolds preventing the sweep.
Reynolds wants to pass the guard but Babcock is keeping the position.
Babcock has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Reynolds has passed into side control.
Reynolds wants to lay and pray for a moment but Babcock keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reynolds is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Babcock knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Reynolds tries for a kimura but Babcock is defending well.
Babcock is looking to regain half guard here but Reynolds keeps moving and retains side control.
Reynolds has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Babcock is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Reynolds's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Reynolds looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Babcock is looking for a sweep. Reynolds is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Babcock is refusing to be controlled, as Reynolds sits in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Babcock is trying to control but can't.
Babcock is staying active underneath Reynolds, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Babcock actively working from the bottom here.
Reynolds is pressing down on Babcock's thigh, looking to free his foot. Babcock is holding on for now.
Babcock tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Reynolds has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Reynolds goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Babcock turns into him and now he's in Reynolds's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Babcock trying to control the position from guard on top but Reynolds is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Babcock sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Reynolds working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Babcock doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Babcock manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Babcock thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Babcock wants to stand and escape but instead Reynolds has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Babcock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reynolds doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reynolds manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Babcock wants to control but Reynolds passes easily into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Reynolds prevents Babcock from improving his position.

Reynolds seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Babcock is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
