Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between jin san (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Spun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vladimir Spun is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Spun!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
san shoots in but no luck this time.
san keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Spun.
Spun takes a kick to the side of the head.
Spun takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Spun stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
san has a takedown stuffed.
Spun fails to land with a series of punches.
san shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Spun as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for jin san. That's going to take a lot out of him.
san gets a takedown into half guard.
Spun wants to get back to his feet.
Spun won't allow san to pass to mount.
san is working hard here to advance position.
Spun is staying active underneath san, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Spun trying to hold on to san's head to control him but san postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Spun tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
san closes the distance and clinches up with Spun, looking for a takedown. san pushes Spun against the cage but Spun circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
san could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Spun is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Spun throws a head kick that misses
and san counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Spun tries to land a knee to the head but san blocks with his arms.
Spun wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
san swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Spun manages to break the clinch.
san closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

san wants to stand up but Spun has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Spun looks gassed!

san is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Spun gets back to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Spun looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Spun is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Spun controls san momentarily but san frees himself.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
san instigates a clinch.
Spun breaks from the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Spun as san shoots in.
san looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Horrible takedown by Spun or perhaps it was just good defense by san which made him look bad.
san looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
san is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Spun is just riding it out for now. san eventually gives up the hold.

san working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
san prevents Spun from standing back up.
san is trying for a kimura here. Spun looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! san wins by kimura!
