The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reane fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Vii fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Vii throws the left hand but Reane avoids the punch easily.
Vii lands the left hand.

It looks like Rasmus Reane has been cut.

Reane looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Vii definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Reane is looking for a kimura here.
Vii is not content to let Reane control the position.
Vii wants to control but Reane is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Reane is working for a kimura but Vii is defending it quite comfortably.
Reane wants to free his trapped foot but Vii is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reane throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Vii has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Reane is working away from the top position though.
Reane throwing shots but Vii is blocking nicely.

Reane maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Vii could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Reane has cracked it and Vii is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Reane!
