Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harold Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hades Hug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howard comes into the arena with Eddie Money - Take me home tonight blaring out of the sound system. Hug comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Animal I Have Become kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard slips a jab and a cross from Hug.

Hug lands a head kick. Howard smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Harold Howard has been cut.

Hug will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Howard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That kick from Howard tenderised Hug's leg. Hug is trying to keep his angry face on.
Howard throws out a loose jab but Hug uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hug misses with a double jab.
Hug moves out of range as Howard strikes.
Howard scores with a punch to the head.
Hug tries to bum rush Howard with a series of wild strikes but Howard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Howard throws a nice inside leg kick.
Howard dodges the punch combination from Hug.
Hug looks winded!
Hug avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hug fails with a takedown attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Hug. Those never looked like landing.
Hug misses with a double jab.
Hug dives in and grabs Howard's left leg, looking for a takedown. Howard pushes down on Hug's head and hops out.
Howard's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hug under the eye.
Howard fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hug has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Howard throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Howard jabs Hug to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Nice straight punches there by Howard. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Howard.
Hug takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Howard ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Howard feints a jab promting Hug to slip. Howard then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hug slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Howard blocks a head kick by Hug.

Howard clobbers Hug with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hades Hug seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Howard connects with the punch.
Hug on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Howard lands a front kick.
Howard with a nice cross.
Howard lands a nice shot that snaps Hug's head back.

Hug is rocked!
Hug takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hug is still on wobbly legs! Can Howard finish him?
Howard feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hug's calf.

Hug seems to have recovered his senses.

Howard forces Hug back against the cage and clinches.

Howard lands a left hand.
Howard creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Hug's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Hug drops to his knees and Howard pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Harold Howard really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that GREEN!160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
