Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phan Tran Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le comes to the cage accompanied by Dukes of Hazard Theme Song - Waylon Jennings. Washington has chosen Right Above It as his entrance music. Gary Washington will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phan Tran Le! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gary Washington! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Le avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Le lands a head kick. Washington smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Gary Washington has been cut. The fight stays on the outside here - Washington looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Washington misses with an uppercut. Washington tries to clinch but Le moves away and Le counters with a big head kick but Washington shrugs it off. Washington lands a jab to Le's midsection. This has been an exciting period of action! Washington scores with a punch to the head. Le has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Jungle Elite MMA in the buildup to the fight. Le walks into a left hand. Washington misses with a head kick.
Le pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Le throws a body kick that misses. Washington throws a nice inside leg kick. Le takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Washington's jab looks to have found its range, popping Le under the eye. Washington jabbing away but nothing is landing. Le throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Washington sees it coming and avoids it easily. Washington has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Washington defending well as Le loads up on a big left hand. Le pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Washington throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Le lands a two punch combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Washington lands a really nice looking cross but Le seems unphased.
Le throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Washington closes the distance and clinches. Le lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Le lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Washington misses with the head strike.
Nice body punch from Le. Washington with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Le dodges an elbow strike from Washington.
Le lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
That has opened up Gary Washington's cut even more. Le blocks an uppercut.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Le. Washington misses with the head strike.
Le lands an elbow that stopped Washington in his tracks for a moment. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Le lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Washington is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Washington utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Le lands a damaging elbow. Washington tries to land a knee to the head but Le blocks with his arms.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Washington has hold of one of Le's legs. Le is fighting the takedown attempt but Washington gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Le might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Le looking to control.
Washington stands up from guard. Let's bang! Washington tries to clinch but Le moves out of range. Le throws a sloppy head kick and Washington moves out of range easily. Washington tries to clinch up but Le circles away and keeps his distance. Gary Washington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Le tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Washington paws at him with a jab and circles away. Le takes one on the button. The fight moves into the clinch position. Le takes a shot to the head. Washington looking to throw knees to the head but Le is blocking nicely.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Washington tries to throw a body punch but Le avoids it by throwing Washington back against the cage. Le blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Le lands an elbow just above Washington 's eye.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Washington lands with a short head shot on the inside. Le landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Washington throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Le lands with a light punch inside.
The cut above Gary Washington's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Washington misses with a knee strike.
Washington fails to pull guard.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Le. Le lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Washington connects with a nasty looking knee right to Le's face.
Le softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Le looks to throw an elbow but misses. Le lands an elbow inside that Washington shrugs off. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A knee to the head by Le.
Washington swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Washington tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Le's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Washington tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Le's elbow. Washington working aggressively here.
Washington changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Le fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Le ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Le moves out of range of the strikes. Le throws a head kick but Washington moves out of range.
Washington doesn't manage to clinch there - Le circles away.
Washington might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Washington closes this distance looking for a takedown but Le circles away. Phan Tran Le has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Washington. Washington swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Washington moves into the clinch successfully.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Le. Washington swings wildly with an uppercut but Le uses good head movement to avoid it. Le lands an elbow inside.
Gary Washington's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Washington takes an elbow to the forehead. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Washington using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Le has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Washington misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Le.
Le lands a body shot in the clinch.
Le gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gary Washington's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Phan Tran Le! Phan Tran Le decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
