Manhoef comes into the arena with Killing In The Name blaring out of the sound system. David Byrne will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manhoef throws a right hand that Byrne ducks under and follows up with a left that Byrne also avoids with ease.

I was talking to Manhoef's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Byrne swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Manhoef.

Byrne connects with a leg kick. Manhoef looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Manhoef throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Byrne pounces like a tiger and cracks Manhoef with a vicious hook! Manhoef is down but not out! Byrne follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
