Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edward Pattinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Alberto Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pattinson comes to the ring accompanied by Blue (Da Ba Dee) - Eiffel 65. Perez has chosen Hollywood Undead - Hear Me Now as his entrance music. The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pattinson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Perez is able to avoid easily.
Perez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pattinson.
Perez checks a leg kick nicely.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Perez checks a leg kick.
Perez throws out a loose jab but Pattinson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pattinson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Perez slips a straight right by Pattinson.
Perez connects with a looping right hand.
Perez scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Perez wants to clinch but Pattinson slips to the side
and Pattinson counters with an outside leg kick.
Pattinson lands with a thumping leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Perez takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pattinson misses with a few strikes there.
Pattinson scores with a punch to the head.

Pattinson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Pattinson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pattinson throws a looping overhand right but Perez ducks down to avoid it.
Pattinson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Perez eats them both and turns towards Pattinson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Pattinson looks to land a left hand but Perez moved out of range nicely.
Pattinson tries a head kick but it misses.
Perez throws a leg kick that is checked
and Pattinson counters with an inside leg kick.
Pattinson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pattinson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pattinson misses with a wild body shot.
Perez throws a leg kick but Pattinson sees it coming and moves out of range.

Perez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Perez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pattinson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Perez is looking to chop away at Pattinson's legs.
Perez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Perez moves into the clinch.
Perez lands a left hand.
Pattinson trying to control the position but instead, Perez has worked for underhooks and has pushed Pattinson into the ropes.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Perez throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Pattinson blocks it with crossed arms.
Perez struggles to land a body shot inside as Pattinson controls his hands.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Pattinson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Pattinson blocks the elbow strike.
Perez misses with a knee to the head.
Pattinson has Perez pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Perez manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pattinson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Perez is defending well.
Perez throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Pattinson blocks it with crossed arms.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Pattinson obliges.
Perez pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Pattinson stalling.
Perez tries to land knees in the clinch but Pattinson avoids the damage to the body.
Pattinson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Perez tries to work over Pattinson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Still in the clinch, Perez scores with a nice short uppercut.
A frustrated look appears on Pattinson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Perez using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Pattinson has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Pattinson pulls Perez into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Perez is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Pattinson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Perez is looking to defend but Pattinson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Perez! Pattinson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Perez taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Edward Pattinson!
