The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arenas connects with a solid leg kick.
Fuark gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Arenas.
Fuark looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Arenas throws a right hand that Fuark ducks under and follows up with a left that Fuark also avoids with ease.
Arenas falls off balance throwing a combination
and Fuark counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Arenas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Arenas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fuark takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fuark chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Arenas can pounce on him.

Arenas connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fuark. Fuark circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Arenas scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fuark doesn't seem bothered though.

Arenas feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fuarks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Arenas clobbers Fuark with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Arenas lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Arenas.

Arenas feints and then cracks Fuark's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fuark down.
Arenas pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fuark back to the cage. Arenas follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fuark looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Arenas catches Fuark with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Fuark is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Arenas connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Fuark tumbling to the canvas! Arenas pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Fuark was done - good stoppage!

Nicolas Arenas decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
