Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between For Win (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Win might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Miles Davis - Freddie freeloader. Law has chosen We Run This Town as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ty Law!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Win fails to land the takedown.
Ty Law seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Law tries to close the distance and clinch but Win swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Win shoots in for a double leg but Law sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Law shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Law was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Win is working to get back to half guard.
Law avoids the attempt from Win to control.
Win can't escape the position.
Law is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Law tries to control but Win wriggling away.
Win sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Win avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Law.
Law is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Law landing shots from mount.
Law unloads with some shots from mount but Win bucks and avoids them well.
Law wants to control the pace but Win is squirming around nicely.
Law controlling the pace for now.
Win tries to hold on but Law postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Win tries to reverse the position but Law maintains control.
Law thowing shots but they're missing.

Law is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Win has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Win!
Win might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Law keeping moving, preventing Win from controlling successfully.
Win wants to pass the guard but Law is keeping the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Law escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Win gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Law wants to get back to his feet but Win is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Law looks gassed!

Win drops back, looking for a kneebar! Law looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Law looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Law!
Win manages to work his way to half guard, despite Law's best efforts.
Law is thwarting Win's attempts to control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Win is trying to get back to full guard.
Win trying to control from the bottom.
Win holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Win trying to hold on to Law's head to control him but Law postures up.
Win is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Law's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Law's back!
Win tries to keep control of the position but Law is staying busy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Win is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Law finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Win with a lazy takedown attempt

and Law counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Law.
Law loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Law is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Win trying to keep a closed guard but Law is proving a slippery customer.

Win is looking for a triangle here but Law uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Law is breathing heavily.

Win tries to bench press Law off him but Law keeps the position.
Win manages to get back to half guard.
Law trying to control the action but Win is working from the bottom.
Win moves into full guard.
Law throwing strikes from guard but Win blocks nicely.
Law must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Win tries to land a sweep but no joy.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Win is working hard here to advance position.
Win looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Win tries for a takedown but Law circles away easily

and Law decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Win's guard.
Law postures up.

Win pulls Law in close to prevent any damage.

Win looking for a guillotine here but Law defends easily.
Win trying to keep a closed guard but Law is proving a slippery customer.
Win has control of Law's left arm, preventing Law from doing any damage.
Win is trying to control the position but Law postures up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Win wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Win is looking to sinch up a triangle. Law throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Win's body to avoid the submission. Win has instead reached around Law's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Win arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). For Win!
