Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Neilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Sisk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neilson comes into the arena with Who Run This- 50 cent blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Neilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Sisk! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sisk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Neilson is fending him off so far but Sisk persists. Nope, Neilson circles away and we're back to standing. Neilson clinches. Neilson manages to break the clinch.
Sisk fails in his attempt to clinch. Neilson lands a lovely overhand right. Neilson lands with a hook. Sisk tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Danga de danga de dang - Neilson scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like John Sisk has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sisk dodges the punch combination from Neilson.

Sisk has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Neilson finds it's way round the side to connect with Sisk's head. Neilson scores with a hook. That's four minutes gone in the round. Sisk darts in trying to clinch and Neilson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Kevin Neilson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sisk throws a head kick but Neilson moves out of range.
Sisk moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Sisk walks into a jab. Neilson digs a good body shot into Sisk's ribs. Sisk takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

A cross from Neilson lands. Sisk closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Neilson to the mat! Neilson manages to get full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Neilson lands a decent punch to the body there. Neilson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sisk manages to get himself to full guard.

Sisk looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Neilson cracks Sisk with a good jab. Neilson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sisk. Sisk uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Neilson. Neilson misses with a wild body shot. The fight stays on the outside here - Sisk looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Neilson cracks Sisk with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Neilson swinging wilding here.
Kevin Neilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sisk takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Neilson stuns Sisk with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Sisk wants to clinch up but Neilson keeps it at a distance. Kevin Neilson is winning the standup battle so far. Sisk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Neilson is fending him off so far but Sisk persists. Nope, Neilson circles away and we're back to standing. Neilson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sisk. Sisk circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Sisk takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neilson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Sisk is breathing heavily. Jab by Neilson. Sisk moves in looking to clinch but Neilson pushes him off. Sisk slips a jab from Neilson. Sisk avoids the body shot from Neilson.
Neilson lands a with a good body shot. Sisk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Neilson tries to avoid it but Sisk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Neilson to the ground. Neilson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Neilson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Neilson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Neilson closes the distance and lands a one-two. Neilson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Sisk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Neilson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Neilson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Neilson getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Neilson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kevin Neilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Sisk. Neilson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sisk backs up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sisk tries to move into range but Neilson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Neilson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Neilson. Neilson thuds his right hand into Sisk's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Sisk walks into a stiff left hand from Neilson. Sisk is trying to ground and pound but Neilson uses the momentary lack of control by Sisk to regain half guard. Sisk is thwarting Neilson's attempts to control the position. Sisk is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Neilson has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
