Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Flash Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sun Wukong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gordon comes into the arena with Slipknot-The Blister Exists blaring out of the sound system. Wukong has chosen I stand alone - Godsmack as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Flash Gordon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sun Wukong!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wukong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gordon manages to avoid it.
Wukong fails with the takedown.
Gordon seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Gordon wants to clinch.
Gordon tries to clinch but Wukong is having none of it.
Wukong shoots in but Gordon avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wukong has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Wukong looks to score with a jab to the body but Gordon is just out of range.
Gordon forces Wukong back against the cage and clinches.

Wukong jumps guard but Gordon stands there with Wukong around his waist. Wukong gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Wukong jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gordon walks away with a smile on his face. Wukong gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Wukong shoots in for a takedown but Gordon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Gordon counters with a one-two to the body.
Gordon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wukong paws at him with a jab and circles away.
