Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Tom Kite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaakko Kolloo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kite might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Plies feat. Lil Boosie - Big Thangs. Jaakko Kolloo has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Kite! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 6 - 3, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaakko Kolloo! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kite misses with a hook. Kolloo ducked under it nicely. Kolloo on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Jaakko Kolloo has been cut. Kite tests Kolloo's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kite is looking to chop away at Kolloo's legs. Kolloo walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kite. A telegraphed right hand from Kolloo misses the target. Kolloo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kolloo blocks a jab. Kolloo misses with a low kick.
Kite swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A left lands for Kite. Kite looks to land a combination but Kolloo avoids it well. Kite checks a leg kick nicely. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kite uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kolloo.
That kick from Kite tenderised Kolloo's leg. Kolloo is trying to keep his angry face on. Jab, jab by Kolloo - just one landing. Kolloo needs to keep his hands up - Kite had a free shot at his head there. Kite explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Kolloo moves forwards but Kite connects with a nice, crisp jab. Kite is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kite takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Kite scores with a leg kick.
Donk. Kite catches Kolloo right on the button with a cross. Jab by Kite. Kolloo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kite was well out of range. Poor timing from Kolloo. Kite misses with a leg kick. Kolloo throws a leg kick that misses. Kite throws a leg kick which misses Kolloo's front leg but catches the back leg as Kolloo tries to avoid it. A decent looking cross lands there for Kite. Kite throws a leg kick but Kolloo sees it coming and checks it nicely. Kolloo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kite. Kite connects with an inside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kolloo throws a solid leg kick but Kite takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kolloo. Kite waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kolloo. Kolloo tries a low kick but Kite avoids it. Nice cross by Kite. Good work by Kite as he checks the leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kolloo lands with a cross. Kolloo tries to work over Kite's front leg with a kick but Kite checks it. Tom Kite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kite lands a glancing blow to the side of Kolloo's head. A nice leg kick lands there from Kite. A telegraphed right hand from Kite misses the target. Kolloo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kite sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kite looks to land a left hand but Kolloo moved out of range nicely. Kite is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kolloo. Kite throws a quick inside leg kick. Kite checks a leg kick. Good leg kick by Kite there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kolloo tries to land a front kick but Kite steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Kolloo looks to land a body kick but Kite moved away. Kite pushing out the jab but it's not landing. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kite lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kolloo's sensitive parts. Kolloo throws a poor cross that misses
and Kite counters with a slapping leg kick. Kite closes the distance and lands a one-two. Kolloo throws a series of punches but Kite avoids them all with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Kite dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jaakko Kolloo's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Kite lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Kite avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kolloo checks a low kick from Kite. Kite throws a chopping leg kick but Kolloo manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Kolloo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kite. Kolloo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kolloo misses with a hook. Kite ducked under it nicely. Kolloo throws a jab when Kite was well out of range. Kolloo misses with a straight left. Kite lunges at Kolloo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kolloo's hand. Nice uppercut there from Kite. Kolloo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kite finds it's way round the side to connect with Kolloo's head.
Kolloo is rocked! Kite with a nice cross. Kolloo is still on wobbly legs! Can Kite finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! A big right from Kolloo misses. Kolloo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kite.
Kite throws a leg kick that misses. Kolloo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kolloo throws a lazy right hand but Kite sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kite moves out of range of the body kick. Kite scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Kolloo beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout. A punch combination from Kite misses. Kolloo wants to slow Kite down by chopping away at his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kolloo moves out of range of the strikes. Kolloo walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Kolloo is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Tom Kite! Tom Kite retains his lightweight title! Our winner, Tom Kite, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
