Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Pyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Phil Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pyle comes to the cage accompanied by Bate Pesadão. Davis has chosen Coldplay - Clocks as his entrance music. Mr Phil Davis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jimmy Pyle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mr Phil Davis! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pyle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Davis somewhat. Davis shoots in and drives through. Pyle sprawls well. Mr Phil Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Davis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pyle tries to avoid it but Davis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pyle to the ground. Pyle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jimmy Pyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Phil Davis. Davis drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Davis is staying tight to Pyle's torso, preventing him from escaping. Davis working the head and body with strikes. Davis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pyle keeps working. Davis looks up at the clock and then as Pyle takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Davis smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Pyle is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Academia Ipanema, so we'll see if he gets out of it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Davis working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Pyle is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pyle looks to move to half guard but instead Davis has passed into mount! Damn! Pyle bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Pyle drops back, looking for a kneebar! Davis looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Davis looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Davis! Pyle looks to move to half guard but instead Davis has passed into mount! Damn! The referee warns Pyle that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Pyle is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Davis looking to finish Pyle with some ground and pound. This is bad for Pyle!
It looks like Jimmy Pyle has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A big strike lands for Davis! That's really hurt Pyle and he's turned his back - Davis keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Davis jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
