Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abbath Immortal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxim Kislyak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Maxim Kislyak was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Immortal looks to land a combination but Kislyak avoids it well. Kislyak misses with a head kick.

Immortal throws a series of punches but Kislyak avoids them all with ease. Kislyak tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Immortal throws a series of punches but Kislyak moves out of range. Kislyak misses with a head kick.

Immortal lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Kislyak closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Immortal prevents a takedown attempt there.

A head kick misses from Kislyak. Kislyak throws a push kick but Immortal slaps the foot to one side. Immortal keeps the fight on the outside. Immortal uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kislyak has time to react. A combination from Immortal does no damage. Kislyak plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Kislyak throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Immortal gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kislyak counters with a big head kick but Immortal shrugs it off. Immortal avoids a kick to the body.
Immortal works over Kislyak's head and body with a nice combination. Kislyak gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Immortal slips nicely into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Immortal seems content to control. Immortal wants to pass to mount but Kislyak is defending the position. Immortal trying to control the action but Kislyak is working from the bottom. Immortal is thwarting Kislyak's attempts to control the position. Kislyak wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Immortal wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kislyak keeps working. Kislyak tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Immortal manages to move to mount!
Kislyak is in all sorts of trouble here.
Immortal wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Kislyak keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Immortal mounts Kislyak! Really nice guard pass there! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Immortal throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Kislyak looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are battling for position here. Immortal manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Kislyak trying to stand up but can't free himself from Immortal's guard. Kislyak gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Kislyak pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Kislyak throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Maxim Kislyak showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Kislyak closes the distance and clinches up with Immortal, looking for a takedown. Kislyak pushes Immortal against the cage but Immortal circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Abbath Immortal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maxim Kislyak. Immortal plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Kislyak feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kislyak would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Kislyak throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kislyak wants to pass the guard but Immortal is keeping the position. Kislyak must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Immortal manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kislyak manages to get himself to full guard.
Kislyak had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Immortal is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kislyak Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Immortal's back instead. Immortal turns into Kislyak and is now in his guard.
Kislyak keeping moving, preventing Immortal from controlling successfully. Kislyak has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Immortal can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Immortal would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Immortal postures up and lands a big shot to Kislyak's brow. Kislyak trying to control the position.
Kislyak wants to stand but Immortal is controlling the position. Kislyak is looking to stand back up but Immortal counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Kislyak.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kislyak is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Immortal pulls his head out easily. Immortal is keen to just control but Kislyak is a slippery customer. Immortal is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Immortal blocks a head kick by Kislyak.

And that's the end of the fight! Maxim Kislyak comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kislyak has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
