Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tre Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lie has chosen we right here as his entrance music. Mike Lie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tre Spar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 29 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Lie! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lie swinging wildly here.
Lie looks to clinch so Spar counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Spar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Spar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Spar slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Lie wants to stand up but Spar is controlling him. Spar decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lie, up you get! Lie moves to clinch but Spar breaks away and Spar moves into the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Spar works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Lie is looking to stand up but Spar isn't so interested in that idea. Spar trying to control but Lie is working from the bottom. Spar gets to his feet. Lie looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Lie closes the distance but Spar moves to the side and Spar counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Spar. We've been hearing reports that Spar has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lie is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Spar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mike Lie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Spar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Spar tries for a kimura but Lie is defending well. Lie is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Spar asserts his dominance and retains side control. Spar tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Spar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Spar tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Spar is looking to take a break and control but Lie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Spar is trying to get an arm triangle but Lie is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lie wants to get back to his feet. Spar in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Lie is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
