Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kouya throws a sloppy head kick and Couture moves out of range easily.
Kouya misses with a jab to the body
so Couture counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Couture is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kouya is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kouya has escaped and now he's on top!
Kouya is looking to work some ground and pound but Couture has wrist control.
Couture manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Couture takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A relieved looking Fedor Couture thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
