Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greek Gyros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and HeavyWeight Prizefighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gyros comes to the cage accompanied by Greek Gyros. Prizefighter has chosen Under and Over it by ffdp as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prizefighter shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gyros napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Gyros is trying to control Prizefighter's posture but Prizefighter avoids it.
Prizefighter is working Gyros over with some ground and pound from side control.
Prizefighter is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gyros knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Gyros is looking for a sweep.
Prizefighter creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gyros sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Prizefighter is putting a hurting on Gyros here, landing some big shots from side control.

Gyros wants to control but Prizefighter postures up.

Prizefighter tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Prizefighter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Prizefighter connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gyros some visible discomfort.
Prizefighter working the ground and pound but Gyros is defending the strikes.

Prizefighter in side control, throwing shots but Gyros defends.
Gyros gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Prizefighter connects with a nice short shot to Gyros's temple.
Prizefighter has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Gyros tries to hold on but Prizefighter pushes him away.
Gyros is wriggling around trying to escape.
Prizefighter looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gyros is looking to improve his position but Prizefighter isn't that keen on the idea.
Prizefighter with shots to the head and body - Gyros looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gyros bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Gyros will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prizefighter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gyros doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Prizefighter is tightening it up a little... Gyros has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gyros reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gyros taps out! Nice BJJ there by Prizefighter!
