Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Christian Weber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jacob Sebastian!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Weber gets caught flat footed, as Sebastian shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Sebastian wants to control from the top but Weber keeps moving.
Sebastian is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Sebastian trying to control the position from guard on top but Weber is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sebastian controlling from the top position.
Weber will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jacob Sebastian was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Sebastian swats away the attempt to clinch by Weber.
Sebastian takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Weber tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sebastian swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sebastian walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Weber throws a head kick that misses.

Sebastian clinches up with Weber and pushes him back against the cage.

Sebastian has Weber pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sebastian pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Weber tumbling to the mat - Sebastian dives into Weber's guard.
Sebastian is looking to stand up but Weber won't let him.
Sebastian trying to control the position from guard on top but Weber is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Weber wants to stand but Sebastian is controlling the position.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Jacob Sebastian has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Weber gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sebastian to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sebastian is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Weber looking for a sweep. Not yet Weber, not yet.
Weber lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sebastian!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sebastian is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Sebastian is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Sebastian regains half guard.
Sebastian has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Weber is working away from the top position though.
Sebastian regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Weber.

Sebastian pulls Weber in close to prevent any damage.
Sebastian looking to control.

Sebastian looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Weber passes into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jacob Sebastian dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Weber wants to clinch up but Sebastian keeps it at a distance.

and Sebastian counters with a nice double leg into side control. Weber won't be happy with that.
Weber seems a little lost for a moment, as Sebastian dominates the positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sebastian wants to control but Weber is keeping him busy.
Sebastian tries to score with some ground and pound. Weber controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Jacob Sebastian has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sebastian working the head and body with strikes.
Weber really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Weber is trying to improve his position.
Weber is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sebastian off and has taken his back!
Sebastian turns into Weber and is now in his guard.
Sebastian trying to control but Weber is working from the bottom.
Sebastian slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Sebastian in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Sebastian has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Weber is proving hard to escape from.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Sebastian wants to control from the top but Weber keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jacob Sebastian.
Sebastian tries to clinch but Weber moves out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sebastian throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Weber counters with a two punch combo.
Sebastian throws a head kick that misses.

Sebastian fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Weber to the ground. Sebastian is now in Weber's guard.
Weber keeping moving, preventing Sebastian from controlling successfully.
Sebastian slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Weber thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Sebastian engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jacob Sebastian was stalling too much, according to the referee.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Sebastian lands a takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sebastian looking to sit in guard and control but Weber gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Sebastian has his hands on Weber's head, controlling the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Weber has gone for a leg lock! Sebastian slips out almost immediately though and dives into Weber's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jacob Sebastian showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Weber doesn't manage to clinch there - Sebastian circles away.

Sebastian shoots in and gets a takedown into Weber's guard.
Sebastian passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Weber is trying to improve his position.
Sebastian tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The strikes coming from Sebastian are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Sebastian has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Sebastian has isolated one of Weber's arms. Weber looking to fight him off but Sebastian twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
