Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bronko Strunz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Sepultra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strunz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sepultura - Roots Boody Roots. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bronko Strunz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Damien Sepultra! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strunz does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Strunz misses with a body shot.
Strunz throws a chopping leg kick but Sepultra manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Sepultra lands with a thumping leg kick.
Strunz throws the left hand but Sepultra avoids the punch easily. Strunz misses with a body shot.
Sepultra lands a head kick. Strunz smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Bronko Strunz has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Strunz tests Sepultra's chin there with a solid looking shot. Strunz pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Strunz throws a nice outside leg kick. Sepultra ducks under a wild hook from Strunz. Strunz has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Strunz throws a head kick that misses. Sepultra blocks a head kick by Strunz.
Strunz throws a leg kick that misses. Damien Sepultra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Strunz swings for the body but Sepultra moves out of range.
Strunz misses with a low kick.
Strunz goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sepultra scores with a shot to the body.
Sepultra connects with an inside leg kick. Jab by Sepultra. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sepultra has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Sepultra tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Strunz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sepultra throws a push kick but Strunz slaps the foot to one side. A shot to the liver by Sepultra. Beautiful body shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sepultra closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Sepultra scores with a shot to the side of Strunz's head. Sepultra looking to slow down the pace here. Sepultra misses with a punch on the inside.
Sepultra tries to work over Strunz's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Sepultra leaning against his opponent.
A nice left hand lands by Sepultra.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Strunz. A short right hand to the side of the head by Strunz.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strunz manages to break the clinch.
Sepultra misses with a body kick. Strunz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sepultra. Strunz pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Sepultra tests Strunz's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bronko Strunz's cut is getting worse. A jab lands there for Sepultra. Sepultra misses with a wild body shot. Sepultra is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Sepultra misses with a low kick.
Strunz connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sepultra momentarily.
Sepultra moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Nice straight punches there by Strunz. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Strunz. Sepultra takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sepultra just misses with a punch to the body.
Strunz lands a glancing blow to the side of Sepultra's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sepultra dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Sepultra lands with a cross. Sepultra moves out of range of the strikes. Nice shot lands for Strunz. Sepultra takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Sepultra scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Bronko Strunz's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Sepultra throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Strunz checks a low kick from Sepultra. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A looping hook to the body misses from Strunz. Sepultra does a little dance to reset his feet. Strunz throws a leg kick but Sepultra sees it coming and moves out of range. Sepultra lands a nice shot to the body.
Strunz walks into a stiff left hand from Sepultra. Sepultra connects with a jab. Strunz throws a right hand that misses
so Sepultra counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Strunz is rocked! Sepultra with a nice head shot there. Oh Strunz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strunz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sepultra is in close to Strunz's body, working some short punches and elbows. Sepultra sitting in guard, not really doing much. Sepultra passes Strunz's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Sepultra lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Sepultra is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sepultra is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Strunz sees it coming and defends easily. Strunz seems to have got his legs back now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Strunz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sepultra tries to pass to full mount but Strunz defends it. Sepultra prevents Strunz from improving his position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Strunz is pressing down on Sepultra's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Sepultra makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damien Sepultra dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bronko Strunz's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sepultra misses with a looping right. Strunz is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Strunz tries to land a leg kick but Sepultra saw it coming and moves away.
Strunz walks into a jab. Strunz throws a head kick but Sepultra moves out of range.
Strunz throws a leg kick but Sepultra sees it coming and checks it nicely. Sepultra throws a jab but it's blocked by Strunz. A looping hook to the body misses from Sepultra. Strunz does a little dance to reset his feet. Sepultra lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Sepultra lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Strunz throws a low kick but Sepultra moves out of range easily. Sepultra lands a big uppercut and Strunz crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Strunz looks OK. Sepultra waves Strunz back to his feet!
Jeez, Bronko Strunz's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sepultra misses with a low kick.
Strunz blocks the body kick.
Sepultra jabs Strunz to the body, keeping him at a distance. Sepultra doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sepultra paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bronko Strunz's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Damien Sepultra! Our winner, Damien Sepultra, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
