Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bam Jackass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Redmond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackass comes into the arena with Guns N' Roses: Welcome To The Jungle blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackass throws a wild body kick that Redmond sees coming a mile off.
Redmond clinches up against the cage.
Redmond creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jackass's defenses.
It looks like Bam Jackass has been cut.
Redmond lands an elbow that stopped Jackass in his tracks for a moment.
Redmond effectively controlling the action here.
Redmond blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Redmond comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Redmond tries to land knees in the clinch but Jackass avoids the damage to the body.

Jackass keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Redmond connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jackass. Jackass circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jackass tries to clinch but Redmond is having none of it.
Redmond changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackass looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jackass is working to avoid the ground and pound but Redmond connects with a decent elbow.

Redmond throwing strikes but Jackass manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Jackass decides to stand back up. Jackass steps back and let's Redmond get back to his feet.
Jackass wants to clinch up but Redmond keeps it at a distance.
Redmond throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Redmond pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

The referee is keeping an eye on Jackass - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Redmond goes for a takedown attempt but Jackass pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Redmond seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jackass does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Redmond thows a huge punch but Jackass dodges it nicely.
Redmond takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Redmond throws a strike but Jackass avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Redmond is working Jackass over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Jackass will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Redmond is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Jackass jerks Redmond's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Redmond drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Jackass goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Jackass because Redmond was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
