Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Wheeler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack McCain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ralph Wheeler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack McCain! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wheeler shoots in but no luck this time. Wheeler rushes McCain and presses him up against the cage. McCain pulls guard effortlessly. Wheeler throws a big right hand that misses. McCain is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McCain working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Wheeler. McCain is adopting a defensive guard. Wheeler in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCain is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wheeler postures up in McCain's guard and throws a big left but McCain blocks it. McCain wants to stand and escape but Wheeler is having none of it. Wheeler loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. McCain is trying to control the position from the bottom.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jack McCain hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. McCain shoots in and gets a takedown into Wheeler's guard. Wheeler wants to improve his position but instead McCain has moved into half guard.
Wheeler tries to kick McCain off but McCain keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wheeler is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McCain's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McCain's back! Wheeler lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can McCain hold on?!
Wheeler is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but McCain has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. This has been an exciting period of action! McCain trying to control but not successfully. Wheeler looking for the choke from the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCain trying to control the position but Wheeler manages to sink in the hooks. Wheeler is persistently looking for the submission but McCain is defending it well.
Wheeler is breathing heavily. McCain controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. McCain is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCain breaks Wheeler's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Wheeler wants to stand but McCain is controlling the position. McCain content to stall in guard here. McCain postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Wheeler bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McCain's guard. McCain working a defensive guard here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McCain manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jack McCain will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Wheeler doesn't manage to clinch there - McCain circles away.
Wheeler tries to clinch and McCain counters with a solid body kick. Wheeler throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McCain shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wheeler napping and manages to drive through into side control! McCain landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. McCain trying to control the position but Wheeler is working away. You can see the frustration on Wheeler's face as McCain controls the position. Wheeler is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Wheeler tries to buck McCain off but McCain is having none of it. McCain advances nicely into full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wheeler working to try and regain half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McCain controlling the position easily from mount. McCain scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Wheeler?
Wheeler is in all sorts of trouble here.
McCain lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. McCain trying to control but he's not successful this time. Wheeler flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
McCain has hold of Wheeler's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wheeler manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wheeler is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Wheeler is trying to get back to his feet but can't. McCain with shots to the head and body - Wheeler looks very uncomfortable down there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wheeler throwing hammer fists to the chest of McCain. What's that going to do exactly? Wheeler sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. McCain stops Wheeler from getting back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wheeler wants to stand back up but McCain manages to pass into side control.
McCain trying to control the position but Wheeler is working away. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. McCain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wheeler keeps working. Wheeler gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Wheeler is looking to get back to full guard here but McCain has managed to pass to side control instead. McCain is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wheeler's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCain scoring with punches from side control. Wheeler wants to get back to his feet. Wheeler on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Wheeler is looking to work his way out of this bad position but McCain is controlling him well. A lull in the action here. Jack McCain has got the better of the ground game so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wheeler taking a bit of punishment here - McCain scoring with strikes. Wheeler is trying to strike from the bottom but McCain has passed into full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack McCain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
McCain circles away from the clinch attempt and McCain counters by clinching up. McCain connects with a knee to the head.
Wheeler tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McCain just stands there and leans against the cage. Wheeler tries to circle away but McCain has him pinned against the cage. McCain successfully pulls guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McCain is on top in guard.
McCain wants to control from the top but Wheeler keeps moving. Wheeler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wheeler trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
That's one minute gone in the round. McCain stays in close to Wheeler's body and controls the position. McCain takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wheeler scrambles and gets back to his feet.
McCain falls off balance throwing a combination
and Wheeler counters by moving into the clinch. McCain gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Wheeler.
Wheeler successfully pulls guard.
McCain passes into half guard. Wheeler landing rabbit punches to the side of McCain's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wheeler keeps working. Wheeler wants to get back to his feet.
McCain working Wheeler over with strikes. McCain trying to control the pace. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McCain is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Wheeler wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCain controlling the action here. McCain drops an elbow to the side of Wheeler's head. McCain trying to mount his opponent but Wheeler defends it. McCain is trying to control. Wheeler wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jack McCain was stalling too much, according to the referee. McCain looks to land a body kick but Wheeler moved away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wheeler gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Wheeler goes for a takedown attempt but McCain pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ralph Wheeler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wheeler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McCain sprawls well. McCain wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wheeler gets slowly back to his feet. Jack McCain is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. McCain closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wheeler did well to prevent McCain getting side control. Ralph Wheeler has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jack McCain is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wheeler misses with some strikes from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack McCain comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got McCain winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
