Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike McKinley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Cavalera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McKinley comes into the arena with Swing That Tambourine blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Cavalera's choice of entrance music: Territory. On his way into the cage it seems that Mike McKinley has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mike McKinley seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike McKinley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Max Cavalera! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cavalera wants to clinch up but McKinley keeps it at a distance. McKinley stuffs the takedown. McKinley throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McKinley scores with a takedown into Cavalera's guard. McKinley is looking to stand up but Cavalera won't let him. Cavalera working for a triangle but McKinley defends it easily.
McKinley passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cavalera is looking for a sweep. McKinley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. McKinley looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Cavalera is trying to get back to full guard. Cavalera is pressing down on McKinley's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. McKinley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cavalera swivels though and keeps the full guard. McKinley wants to stand and escape but instead Cavalera has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Cavalera slips nicely into half guard. McKinley wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cavalera uses his free foot to push down on McKinley's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McKinley. Cavalera working for a guillotine from mount but McKinley is in no mood to give up. McKinley wants to control but Cavalera is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. McKinley tries to control Cavalera's body but Cavalera pushes him off. McKinley squirms to his side and now Cavalera has his back! McKinley trying to control the position but Cavalera manages to sink in the hooks. Cavalera working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McKinley is in bad spot here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Cavalera dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
McKinley with a poor takedown and Cavalera counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McKinley! McKinley gets back to half guard. McKinley is trying to control but Cavalera passes into side control!
McKinley regains half guard. McKinley wants to get back to full guard. McKinley looks like he's trying to stand up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKinley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Cavalera is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McKinley is just riding it out for now. Cavalera eventually gives up the hold. McKinley wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McKinley trying to hold on to Cavalera's head to control him but Cavalera postures up.
McKinley moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

McKinley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cavalera can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cavalera sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed McKinley's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Cavalera is working for a submission of some sort.
McKinley gets full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McKinley striking off his back but it's not causing Cavalera any problems. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McKinley tries for a takedown but Cavalera circles away easily and Cavalera decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McKinley's guard. Cavalera trying to control but McKinley is working from the bottom. Cavalera passes into half guard. McKinley trying to hold on to Cavalera's head to control him but Cavalera postures up.

McKinley is trying to escape back to his feet but Cavalera uses the scramble to pass into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. McKinley is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Cavalera thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Cavalera takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. McKinley is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cavalera working away. McKinley is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Cavalera is one step ahead and moves to full mount! McKinley is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cavalera has control of McKinley's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and McKinley regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Cavalera with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Mike McKinley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Max Cavalera is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McKinley wants to control but Cavalera is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Cavalera comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Cavalera winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
