Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Bolda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Stonedberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bolda comes to the cage accompanied by Fett's Vette. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Josh Bolda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michael Stonedberg! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bolda lands with a right hand. Excellent takedown into side control there by Bolda. Stonedberg is looking for a sweep. Bolda is chipping away with strikes.
Bolda has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bolda working the head with strikes. Stonedberg is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bolda asserts his dominance and retains side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bolda tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Bolda working the ground and pound but Stonedberg is defending the strikes. Bolda advances nicely into full mount. Stonedberg felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Bolda landing shots from mount. Stonedberg is bucking up trying to escape but Bolda cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bolda working the ground and pound effectively.
Bolda moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Stonedberg has worked his arm free - good work by Stonedberg!
That's one minute gone in the round. Stonedberg is not content to let Bolda control the position. Stonedberg taking a bit of punishment here - Bolda scoring with strikes. Bolda cracks Stonedberg with a big right hand but Stonedberg just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Bolda trying to control the action but Stonedberg is working from the bottom. Stonedberg is trying to control Bolda's posture but Bolda avoids it. Stonedberg is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bolda off and has taken his back! Bolda breaks Stonedberg's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Bolda is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Stonedberg keeping moving, preventing Bolda from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stonedberg is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stonedberg can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bolda controls the pace. Bolda stands and throws Stonedberg's legs to the side, diving into side control. Bolda throwing strikes but Stonedberg manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Bolda is not content to let Stonedberg control the position. Bolda tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stonedberg wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Stonedberg is working Bolda over with some ground and pound from side control. Bolda might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bolda sneaks back into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bolda wants to control but Stonedberg is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bolda is refusing to be controlled, as Stonedberg sits in half guard. Bolda is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Stonedberg wants to pass the guard but Bolda is defending well. Stonedberg is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Stonedberg controlling from the full mount. Stonedberg looking to control but Bolda is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Bolda tries to lock up and control but Stonedberg gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bolda has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Stonedberg's lack of action.
Bolda moves into full guard.
Bolda looking for a guillotine here but Stonedberg defends easily.
Stonedberg stopping the sweep attempt from Bolda. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bolda has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Stonedberg doesn't defend quickly enough and Bolda has managed to lock this one up! Can Stonedberg escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Bolda on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Josh Bolda! Josh Bolda very nearly forgot to thank GREEN!160 amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
