Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between La Da De (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Wimms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jim Wimms!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Da De misses.
A swing and a miss from Da De.
Wimms slips a jab from Da De.
Da De lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Jim Wimms has been cut.
Da De throws a right and a left that Wimms avoids nicely.
Da De misses with a straight left.
Da De looks to land a left hand but Wimms moved out of range nicely.
Wimms closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Da De lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Da De clobbers Wimms with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Da De scores with a sloppy right hand. Wimms should have avoided that one.
Da De throws a jab but it's blocked by Wimms.
Wimms drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
La Da De seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wimms avoids the body shot from Da De.
Da De throws a lazy right hand but Wimms sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Da De throws a jab but it's blocked by Wimms.
Da De looks to land a right hand but Wimms moved out of range.
Wimms steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Da De.
Horrible takedown by Wimms or perhaps it was just good defense by Da De which made him look bad.
Da De connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wimms staying out of range there.
Da De misses with a hook.
Wimms takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Da De is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Da De connects with a jab.
Wimms moves out of range of the strikes.
Wimms steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Da De.
Da De is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Wimms takes one on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Da De throws a hook to the side of Wimms's head but Wimms sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wimms defending well as Da De loads up on a big left hand.
Sloppy strikes from Da De. Those never looked like landing.

Wimms shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Da De napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wimms in side control, just content to control the action for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wimms tries to move into full mount but can't pass Da De's legs.
Wimms passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Da De!
Da De knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wimms on the ground.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Wimms quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Wimms but it's paid off an Da De is forced to tap! Nice work by Wimms.
