Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Grace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Tupper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grace comes into the arena with Do You Really Want To Hurt Me? blaring out of the sound system. Charles Grace has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Grace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Tupper! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grace throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Tupper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Grace as he avoids it easily. Tupper has a takedown stuffed. Tupper shoots in looking for a takedown. Grace tries to sprawl out of it but Tupper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grace manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Charles Grace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Tupper. Tupper throws a head kick but Grace moves out of range.
Tupper moves into the clinch. Grace manages to break the clinch.
Grace dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Grace defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tupper. Grace clinches with his opponent.
Tupper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
An inside leg kick from Tupper misses. Grace seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tupper is defended easily by Grace. Grace ducks under a wild hook from Tupper.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grace lets loose with a powerful body kick. Tupper will feel that in the morning. Grace has Tupper up against the cage in a clinch.
Grace is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Tupper crunches a lovely knee into Grace's ribcage. Tupper drops down looking for an ankle pick but Grace pulls his leg out and moves away.
Tupper has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Grace thows a body shot but no joy. Tupper shoots in looking for a takedown but Grace manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tupper's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bobby Tupper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tupper dives in and scores a takedown into Grace's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Grace is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Grace will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tupper slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grace is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tupper postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Tupper preventing the sweep. Tupper forces his way into half guard. Ground and pound from Tupper. Grace blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tupper. Tupper throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Grace wants to improve his position but Tupper is controlling well.
Tupper is working for a kimura but Grace is defending it quite comfortably.
Grace wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grace avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tupper. Grace is pressing down on Tupper's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Tupper with a flurry of punches that miss. Tupper decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Grace, up you get! Tupper looks for a takedown but Grace sprawls well. Tupper throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Grace tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tupper is in Grace's guard. Tupper is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Tupper stands up from guard. Let's bang! Tupper shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Grace's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Grace wants to stand up but Tupper is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tupper wants to control from the top but Grace keeps moving. Tupper tries to free his leg and advance position but Grace is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grace working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tupper. Tupper has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Grace looking to control.
Tupper wants to pass the guard but Grace is keeping the position. Grace can't keep his opponent in guard - Tupper advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tupper controlling the action here. Grace tries to get to full guard but Tupper has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Tupper dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Tupper shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Grace napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bobby Tupper has got the better of the ground game so far. Grace is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tupper off and has taken his back! Grace wants to control but Tupper is keeping busy. Tupper rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Grace stands up from half guard. Tupper tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Grace swivels and escapes. Tupper rushes Grace and presses him up against the cage. Tupper breaks the clinch.
Tupper fails with a takedown attempt. Grace stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Grace wants it to stay on the feet. Charles Grace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Tupper.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tupper takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Tupper manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Grace on his heels. He'll look to pass Grace's guard now, I'm sure. Grace is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Grace keeping full guard, as Tupper tries to pass. Tupper is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Tupper advances position into side control! Tupper wants to lay and pray for a moment but Grace keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grace wants to get back to his feet. Tupper thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Tupper is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Grace has managed to free his arm - good work. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Tupper wants to lay and pray for a moment but Grace keeps working. Tupper is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Grace trying to control but Tupper postures up.

Tupper decides to return to a standing position. Tupper throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Grace counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Grace cracks Tupper with an open hand slap. Nice body kick there by Grace. Tupper moves out of range of the strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tupper keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Tupper shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tupper showed some decent athleticism there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Grace gets back to full guard.

Bobby Tupper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Tupper goes for a double leg but Grace avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Grace continues to drive forward. Tupper avoiding damage as Grace throws knees to the body.
Tupper tries to break free but Grace pushes him back against the cage. Tupper pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Grace throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Grace looks to land a left hand but Tupper moved out of range nicely. Tupper fails with a takedown attempt. Charles Grace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Tupper. Grace takes a swing at Tupper's ribcage but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tupper scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Tupper wants to take a breather but Grace is having none of it. Tupper decides to stand and escape the position. Charles Grace is winning the standup battle so far. Grace keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Tupper takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Tupper fails to land the takedown. Grace throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Grace stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Tupper tries to clinch but Grace moves away enabling Grace to counter with a crisp jab. Tupper throws a head kick that half lands.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Grace slaps away a takedown attempt from Tupper, before circling back to the center of the mat. Charles Grace has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Tupper is fighting to maintain full guard but Grace has managed to sneak the leg through.

Grace wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tupper keeps working. Grace frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Grace working for a guillotine from mount but Tupper is in no mood to give up. Tupper tries to reverse the position but Grace maintains control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grace misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Bobby Tupper is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Grace gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Grace tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tupper paws at him with a jab and circles away. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Charles Grace. I think Tupper has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
