Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edison Meyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Edison Meyer has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edison Meyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lou Wallace! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meyer wants to clinch up but Wallace keeps it at a distance. Meyer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wallace dives in and scores a takedown into Meyer's guard. Meyer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Wallace throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Meyer works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Wallace pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Meyer is keeping the position for now. Wallace trying to control the position from guard on top but Meyer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Meyer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Meyer looking to control.
Wallace scoring with punches to the head and body. Wallace has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Meyer is trying to control the position but Wallace postures up. Meyer keeping moving, preventing Wallace from controlling successfully. Meyer looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace stands up and waves to Meyer to follow him. Meyer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Meyer darts in and clinches Wallace up against the cage. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wallace has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Wallace tightens his grip and picks Meyer up, before dumping him to the ground. Meyer manages to land in guard. Wallace trying to control but Meyer is working from the bottom. Meyer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wallace doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wallace manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Meyer really is a fat lump.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wallace stands up over Meyer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Wallace trying to control but Meyer is working from the bottom. Wallace postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Wallace looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Wallace scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Wallace working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Meyer's head. Wallace landing with the ground and pound. Meyer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Meyer moves to clinch but Wallace breaks away and Wallace counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Meyer actively working from the bottom here. Meyer is breathing heavily. Wallace is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Wallace working over Meyer with some ground and pound. Meyer looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wallace is looking to work some ground and pound but Meyer has wrist control. Lou Wallace has got the better of the ground game so far. Wallace trying to control but Meyer is working from the bottom. Wallace postures up and lands a big shot to Meyer's brow. Meyer keeping moving, preventing Wallace from controlling successfully. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Meyer haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Wallace controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Lou Wallace. Wallace shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wallace showed some decent athleticism there. Meyer taking some punishment here, with Wallace in his half guard. Meyer on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Wallace is thwarting Meyer's attempts to control the position. Wallace slips a nice elbow through Meyer's hands, connecting with Meyer's forehead. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Wallace. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Meyer.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Meyer tries to escape but Wallace is in control. Wallace looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Wallace is looking to take a break and control but Meyer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wallace cracks Meyer with a big elbow. Wallace trying to control the position but Meyer is working away. Wallace decides to take the fight back to the feet. Wallace is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace avoids the head kick by Meyer.
Wallace closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Meyer quickly recovers to half guard. Wallace is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Meyer is trying to stand back up but Wallace is controlling him
Meyer is looking to control Wallace's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Meyer avoid being mounted? Wallace drops an elbow to the side of Meyer's head. Wallace lands strikes from half guard. Meyer is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Meyer has hold of Wallace's hands but Wallace slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Meyer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wallace is working away from the top position though. Meyer looking for submissions off his back. Meyer trying to control from the bottom.
Wallace working over Meyer with some ground and pound. Meyer looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wallace connects with a nice short shot to Meyer's temple. Wallace lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Meyer quite badly. Meyer pulls Wallace in close trying to recover. Wallace postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Meyer on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Meyer doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
