Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dome One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Halid Khuratov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dome One has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khuratov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
One is looking to escape.
Khuratov is looking to stall here but One recovers full guard.
One is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Khuratov is aware though and is defending well.
One wants to stand and escape but Khuratov is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
One trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
One is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Khuratov dives into side control.
One is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Khuratov has just dragged him back down to the mat.

I really don't envy Khuratov right now.
Khuratov is still trying to improve position.
One seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Khuratov's chin but Khuratov turns very nicely into One's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Khuratov.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Khuratov wants to control from the top but One keeps moving.
One looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

One stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Khuratov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Khuratov is looking to clinch.

One working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

One is trying to work for a kimura but Khuratov is defending well.

Well, if One is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Khuratov is looking to control One's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Khuratov avoid being mounted?

One is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Khuratov is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Khuratov is bucking up trying to escape but One cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
One controlling the position easily from mount.
One seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Khuratov for as long as he can get away with.

One has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Dome One dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
One throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Khuratov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. One is in Khuratov's guard.
Khuratov is trying to control the position but One postures up.
Khuratov looking for a guillotine here but One defends easily.
One is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Khuratov wants to stand but One is controlling the position.

One is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Dome One wasn't doing enough on the ground.
The fight stays on the outside here - Khuratov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
One goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
One darts in and clinches Khuratov up against the cage.
Khuratov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but One pulls him back up using the underhooks.

One wants the takedown. Khuratov is fighting it off but One persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Khuratov's guard against the cage.

One seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

We're going to have a standup here because Dome One wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
One takes the fight into the clinch.
One stops a takedown attempt from Khuratov.
One gets underhooks to prevent Khuratov's takedown attempt.
Dome One has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Halid Khuratov.
Khuratov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

One stands up over Khuratov, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

One makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Dome One showed his dominance in that final round.
Well One has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
