Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Red Project (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lars Holm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holm has chosen Warriors Heart as his entrance music. Lars Holm will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Red Project ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lars Holm! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Project throws out a loose jab but Holm uses good head movement to avoid it. Holm blocks a jab. Holm has taken the fight to the clinch.
Holm escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Project misses the shot to the body. Project misses with an uppercut. Holm saw that one coming. Holm defending well as Project loads up on a big left hand. Holm has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Project is landing a low percentage of strikes. A slow jab from Project misses its intended target. Holm connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Project 's hands. Holm clinches with his opponent.
Holm effectively controlling the action here. Holm pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Holm tries to close the distance and clinch up but Project swats him away and circles back towards the center. Project dodges the punch combination from Holm.
Project loads up on a big right hand but Holm slips the punch. Project scores with a takedown into Holm's guard. Holm is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Project is aware though and is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holm had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Project defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Holm looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Project might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Project wants to pass the guard but Holm is keeping the position. Holm is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Holm trying to keep a closed guard but Project is proving a slippery customer.
Holm tries to land a sweep but no joy. Project got a little sloppy there for a moment and Holm has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Project has managed to get both his arms back between Holm's legs - danger averted. Project looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Project loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Project is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Holm is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Project doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Project manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Project pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Holm is keeping the position for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Holm can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Project controls the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Holm with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Holm is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Project is looking for a kimura but Holm is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Project to get the leverage. Holm taking some punishment here, with Project in his half guard. Project wants to control but Holm is keeping him busy. Project trying to pass the guard but Holm defending well. Holm looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Project landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Holm tries to roll over but Project keeps him under control. Holm displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Holm scores with a crisp jab that stopped Project in his tracks. Holm rushes Project and presses him up against the cage. Project is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Holm pulls him back up using the underhooks. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Holm blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Holm throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Holm sizes up Project with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Project stands up over Holm, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Project working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Holm's head. Project slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lars Holm is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Check out the look on Project 's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Project in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Holm is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Project looking to pass the guard. Holm controls Project momentarily but Project frees himself. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Red Project . I think Holm has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
