Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dirt McGirt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaheli Sonni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGirt comes into the arena with Kuba Knap - Zbyt dziabnięty blaring out of the sound system. Sonni has chosen Chica as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

11 - 7 - 2, fighting out of New York, Dirt McGirt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kaheli Sonni!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping body kick lands there for Sonni.
Sonni lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
McGirt thows a body shot but no joy.
A cross from Sonni lands.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McGirt lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sonni has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sonni and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
McGirt finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
McGirt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McGirt will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Sonni punishes McGirt's body with a nice straight punch.

Sonni is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

McGirt just misses with a punch to the body.
Sonni throws a body punch but McGirt moves out of range.
McGirt throws a chopping leg kick but Sonni manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Sonni throws a sloppy head kick and McGirt moves out of range easily.
McGirt works over Sonni's head and body with a nice combination.

McGirt scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Sonni closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. McGirt quickly recovers to half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
McGirt trying to control but Sonni postures up.
McGirt looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sonni is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McGirt doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sonni.
Sonni wants to free his trapped foot but McGirt is holding on for dear life with his legs.

McGirt looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sonni throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sonni slips nicely into half guard.
Sonni perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Sonni thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McGirt's head.
Sonni wants to lay and pray for a moment but McGirt keeps working.

McGirt tries to get to full guard but Sonni has control of the leg.

Sonni told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sonni throws a nice head kick!
McGirt tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sonni swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sonni. McGirt does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kaheli Sonni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sonni does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
McGirt swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sonni.
Sonni keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
McGirt moves out of range of the body kick.
Sonni takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Sonni drives through with a takedown into McGirt's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Sonni seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

McGirt wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Sonni is looking to advance position but McGirt has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

McGirt's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

McGirt takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

McGirt is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sonni is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dirt McGirt will probably get the nod.

That's time! McGirt's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Sonni fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McGirt has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Sonni counters with a nice double leg into side control. McGirt won't be happy with that.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Sonni is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down McGirt's shoulder. That is not cool.
McGirt is looking for a sweep.
McGirt is trying to escape the position but Sonni is controlling the position.
Sonni wants to control for a moment but McGirt uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Kaheli Sonni has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sonni looking for a submission but McGirt manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
McGirt is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Sonni presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McGirt is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Kaheli Sonni comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Sonni has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
