Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kazumi Okamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Materla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Materla has chosen Sobota - Do góry łeb as his entrance music. Kazumi Okamura could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Michal Materla's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazumi Okamura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michal Materla!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okamura throws a head kick that misses.

Materla closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Okamura is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Materla asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Okamura trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Materla trying to control the position but Okamura is working away.
Materla prevents Okamura from escaping the position.

Materla is trying to get an arm triangle but Okamura is defending well.
Okamura pushes Materla away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Materla gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Materla wants to lay and pray for a moment but Okamura keeps working.
Okamura wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

Materla decides to stand up, so the ref orders Okamura to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Materla or perhaps it was just good defense by Okamura which made him look bad.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Okamura has closed the distance and engaged Materla in a clinch.
Materla has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Okamura after a bit of a struggle.
Okamura throws an elbow that misses.
Okamura lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like Michal Materla has been cut.
Okamura landing knees to the head.
Materla looks winded!

That has opened up Michal Materla's cut even more.

Okamura gets underhooks to prevent Materla's takedown attempt.
Kazumi Okamura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michal Materla.

Okamura putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Materla in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Materla has Okamura pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Okamura manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Okamura lands a nice elbow.

The cut above Michal Materla's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Michal Materla's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
