Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Etienne Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Don Walker!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans moves in looking to clinch but Walker pushes him off.
A jab lands there for Evans.

Evans closes the distance and clinches.
Walker fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Evans working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Evans lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Evans makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Walker tries to stall but Evans uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Evans lands a hook that snaps the head of Walker backwards.

Evans pushes Walker back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Walker has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Evans works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Evans lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Walker to his knees! Evans keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Etienne Evans!
Etienne Evans decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Don Walker spoke after the fight, saying 'I promise that I will continue to get better and give a great show'.
