The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Muranov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Son's guard.
Son is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Son is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Muranov is aware though and is defending well.
Muranov connects with a couple of short punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Muranov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Son has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Muranov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Son is looking for a triangle but Muranov pushes his legs off easily.

Son looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Muranov's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Muranov distracts Son with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Muranov scoring with punches to the head and body.
Muranov arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Son's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
