The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franks shoots for a takedown but Solauqi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Solauqi throws out a leg kick but Franks moves out of range and Solauqi only half commits.

Franks shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Solauqi manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
