The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montana clinches up against the cage.
Montana tries to pull guard but McBox holds him up against the cage and eventually Montana drops back down to his feet.
McBox is trying to break free.
Montana pulls guard effortlessly.
Montana wants to sweep but no luck.
Montana is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
McBox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Montana on the ground.
McBox is staying active underneath Montana, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
McBox is looking to escape.
Montana wants to work for an arm triangle but McBox is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

and McBox counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Montana down! McBox is looking to finish but Montana is intelligently defending himself.

McBox misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McBox throws a right and a left that both miss.
