Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Takeshi Fujiwara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wiley Kilgore! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilgore on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Fujiwara seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Fujiwara takes a swing at Kilgore's ribcage but misses. Kilgore throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fujiwara stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kilgore looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kilgore misses with a wild combination.
Fujiwara scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kilgore doesn't seem bothered though. Kilgore fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fujiwara walks into a jab. Kilgore lands with a hook. Fujiwara tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Fujiwara feints and then cracks Kilgore's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kilgore down. Fujiwara avoids the body shot from Kilgore.
Fujiwara connects with an inside leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Kilgore misses with a straight left. Kilgore looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Kilgore misses with a hook. Fujiwara ducked under it nicely. Kilgore swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kilgore throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kilgore is looking to clinch but Fujiwara is avoiding it.
Fujiwara lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Fujiwara throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fujiwara lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Kilgore showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fujiwara.

Kilgore's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Fujiwara lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Fujiwara misses with a two punch combination.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kilgore crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fujiwara - the referee stops the clock and Kilgore gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fujiwara. Kilgore manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fujiwara showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kilgore.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A decent looking body kick lands there for Fujiwara. A head kick misses from Kilgore. Kilgore looks to land a combination but Fujiwara avoids it well. Kilgore throws a series of strikes that have Fujiwara backpedaling.
Kilgore looks winded! Kilgore scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Kilgore tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Fujiwara slips a jab and a cross from Kilgore.

Kilgore misses with a low kick. Fujiwara is looking to wear down Kilgore with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Kilgore swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fujiwara counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Takeshi Fujiwara is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fujiwara leaves Kilgore with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fujiwara scores with a jab. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kilgore looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Fujiwara fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kilgore has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Fujiwara throws a shot to the body.

That was a close round but I would say that Takeshi Fujiwara will probably get the nod. That's time! Fujiwara's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Fujiwara moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Takeshi Fujiwara is winning the standup battle so far. Fujiwara goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Kilgore will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kilgore pushes Fujiwara against the cage but Fujiwara circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kilgore is breathing heavily. Fujiwara scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Fujiwara jabs Kilgore to the body, keeping him at a distance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fujiwara throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kilgore stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Fujiwara digs a good hook to Kilgore's body.

Fujiwara feints and then cracks Kilgore's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kilgore down. Wiley Kilgore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kilgore takes a shot right to the bread basket. Fujiwara misses the shot to the body. Fujiwara fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kilgore. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fujiwara.

That kick from Fujiwara tenderised Kilgore's leg. Kilgore is trying to keep his angry face on. Kilgore doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Fujiwara misses with a body shot.
Kilgore throws a combination that misses and Fujiwara counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Fujiwara buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fujiwara changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kilgore takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

A jab from Fujiwara finds it's way through Kilgore's defenses. Fujiwara lands with a right hand. Kilgore takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Kilgore takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fujiwara thuds his right hand into Kilgore's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Fujiwara lands with a shot to the body. Fujiwara lands with a nice body kick. Kilgore looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fujiwara is fending him off so far but Kilgore persists. Nope, Fujiwara circles away and we're back to standing. Fujiwara works the jab nicely. Kilgore on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Kilgore has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Fujiwara. Kilgore throws a combination that misses and Fujiwara counters with a right hand to the body. Kilgore on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fujiwara. Fujiwara obviously looking to wear him down.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fujiwara is looking to slow Kilgore down with leg kicks. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fujiwara, right into the meat.

Takeshi Fujiwara dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

And that's the end of the fight! Takeshi Fujiwara showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fujiwara, winning every round. Will the judges agree? In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Takeshi Fujiwara! After the fight, Takeshi Fujiwara was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
