Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Keith Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boedy House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). House has chosen Welcome Home as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Boedy House was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keith Young! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Boedy House! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Young clinches up against the cage. Young prevents a takedown attempt there.
Young breaks from the clinch.
Young is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Young keeps the fight on the outside. House tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Young counters with a nice body kick.
House moves into range and clinches up with Young. Young stalling in the clinch.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Young for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. House tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Young avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. House drops down looking for an ankle pick but Young pulls his leg out and moves away.
Young displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from House. Keith Young has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boedy House. House chopping away at his opponent's legs.
House tries to clinch up and Young counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Young. House blocks an elbow strike from Young.
House wants a takedown but no success here.
Young working hard to break the clinch. Young tried to land a shot to the body but connects with House's elbow. House tries to break the clinch but Young is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Young displaying some good clinch control by pressing House up against the cage. A right handed body shot lands from Young.

House looks to land a right hand but Young moved out of range. Young shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. House manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Young controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. This has been an exciting period of action!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Young with a nice head shot there. House is trying to keep Young in close.

Keith Young has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Horrible takedown by Young or perhaps it was just good defense by House which made him look bad. Young rushes House and presses him up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Young effectively controlling the action here. Young seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. House keeps control of Young as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. House is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. A head punch blocked on the inside by Young. House drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Young prevents a takedown attempt there.

Keith Young dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Young closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Young really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Young is pushing House up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. A nice left hand lands by Young.

Young pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Young stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Young wants it to stay on the feet. House closes this distance looking for a takedown but Young circles away. House dives in and grabs Young's left leg, looking for a takedown. Young pushes down on House's head and hops out. Keith Young has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boedy House. House shoots in looking for a takedown. Young tries to sprawl out of it but House keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Young manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. House closes the distance looking to clinch and Young counters with a solid body kick. House is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. House wants to clinch up but Young keeps it at a distance. House wants to clinch and Young counters with a two punch combo. House misses with a takedown attempt and Young counters by clinching up. House blocks a body shot from Young. House looks to throw an elbow but misses. Young has House pressed against the cage, preventing House from circling away and getting back to striking at range. House misses with a hook from the clinch. House tries to pull guard but Young forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Young has House pushed against the cage. House escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Young controls from within his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Keith Young just wasn't active enough. House tries to clinch up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. House fakes the leg kick and cracks Young in the body. Young shoots in and bounces House off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Young controls from within his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Keith Young dominated that second round. That's time! Young's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Young shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Young throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Young prevents House from standing back up.
Young controlling the action here. Young throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Young content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
We're going to have a standup here because Keith Young wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Young tries to clinch up. House moves into the clinch successfully.
Young pulls guard. Young is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and House defends well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! House cracks Young with a solid left hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Young escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. House gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Young striking from the bottom.
House lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. House preventing the sweep. House trying to control but Young is working from the bottom. Young has momentary wrist control but House slips an elbow through the middle. House prevents Young from getting back to his feet. Young looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Young is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. House stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Young swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. House distracts Young with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. House sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Young's guard. House scores with a couple of good hammerfists. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Young taking some punishment here, with House in his half guard. House stops Young from getting back to his feet.
Boedy House has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! House wants to free his trapped foot but Young is holding on for dear life with his legs. Young tries to roll over but House keeps him under control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Young wants to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Keith Young showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Young, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
