Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Be (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Matthews might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Chaos is my life. Be has chosen I Ain't No Joke as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Be closes the distance but Matthews moves to the side
and Matthews counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
We've been told by Matthews's head coaches at The Scrapyard that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Be takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Be bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Matthews's guard.

Matthews working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Be doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Be manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Matthews escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Be gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Be is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Matthews looks calm but he's in trouble here. Be gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Matthews is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Be lets go of the hold and Matthews can pop his arm back in it's socket.
