The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torpedo clobbers Riberio with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Riberio slips a jab from Torpedo.
Torpedo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Torpedo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Riberio in his tracks.
Torpedo lands a body shot.
Torpedo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Torpedo lands an overhand right.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Torpedo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

We've been hearing reports that Riberio has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Riberio tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Torpedo paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Torpedo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Torpedo wants to free his trapped foot but Riberio is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Torpedo works his foot free and advances to mount.

Riberio holds on to Torpedo as tight as he can, avoiding damage.
