Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Elroy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Ali told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Elroy Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Ali! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ali fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Johnson avoids it really well and circles away. Johnson throws a half hearted mid kick. Ali fails with the takedown. Johnson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Johnson throws a right and a left that Ali avoids nicely. Johnson tries to bum rush Ali with a series of wild strikes but Ali uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Johnson swings for the body but Ali moves out of range.
Ali throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Johnson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Elroy Johnson has been cut. Ali shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Elroy Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Ali.

Ali changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Ali manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ali shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Johnson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ali tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Johnson is in Ali's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Ali is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johnson is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ali has his feet on Johnson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Elroy Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ali circles away. Ali tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ali somewhat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ali.
Johnson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ali stuffs the takedown. Ali closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Ali leaning his opponent against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ali pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A swing and a miss from Johnson. Johnson works the jab nicely. Johnson lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Adam Ali has been cut. Johnson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ali. Ali thows a leg kick but Johnson checks it and Johnson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Johnson misses with a body kick. Johnson tries to work over Ali's front leg with a kick but Ali checks it. Ali takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Ali changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Ali manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ali looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ali drives through with a takedown into guard. Johnson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Johnson tries to get out of the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ali is one step ahead there. Ali prevents Johnson from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johnson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Johnson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ali is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elroy Johnson dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Johnson lands the left hand. Johnson is looking to wear down Ali with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Johnson lands a body shot.

Ali uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Johnson. Johnson connects with a jab. Johnson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Ali bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Elroy Johnson is winning the standup battle so far. Some wild striking there from Johnson.
Ali throws a half hearted mid kick. Ali tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johnson swivels and escapes. Johnson with a jab. Johnson digs a good body shot into Ali's ribs. Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ali circles away quickly and effectively. Ali fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ali moves away. Johnson looks to land a right hand but Ali moved out of range. Johnson misses with a combination
and Ali counters with a lovely straight right hand! Johnson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ali throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ali off to one side. Elroy Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Ali. Ali is breathing heavily. Johnson is looking to land body kicks. Ali blocks a head kick by Johnson.

Ali feints and as Johnson raises his hands in defense, Ali changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ali is in close to Johnson's body, working some short punches and elbows. Johnson is trying to control the position but Ali postures up. Johnson is really struggling to control Ali but he's trying to hold on to the position. Ali throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ali is stalling in the full guard. Johnson is looking to stand up but Ali isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Elroy Johnson. Johnson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ali counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Johnson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Johnson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A combination from Johnson does no damage. Johnson misses with a looping right. Johnson swings and misses with a hook to the body.

He's got hold of a leg but Johnson swivels and escapes. Ali dives in and grabs Johnson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes down on Ali's head and hops out. Ali takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ali doesn't succeed with the takedown and Johnson counters with a lovely shot to the body. Good standup being displayed there by Johnson as he connects with a hook. Elroy Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Johnson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Johnson. Elroy Johnson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Johnson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Johnson tests Ali's chin there with a solid looking shot. Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Johnson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Johnson falls off balance throwing a combination
so Ali counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ali pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Johnson is keeping the position for now. Ali not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johnson wants to stand up but Ali is controlling him.
And that's the end of the fight! Elroy Johnson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Johnson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
