Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ilmari Rinne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Schittd!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rinne fails to land with a series of punches.
Schittd should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Schittd ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
No joy there for Schittd, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Schittd misses with an uppercut. Rinne saw that one coming.
Nice body punch from Rinne.
Rinne lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Schittd throws a lazy uppercut
and Schittd takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rinne throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Schittd counter with a right hand.
It looks like Ilmari Rinne has been cut.
Rinne ducks under a wild hook from Schittd.
Rinne fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A telegraphed right hand from Schittd misses the target.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Schittd, as that shot connected.
Schittd waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rinne.
Schittd misses with a looping left.
Rinne throws a series of punches but Schittd avoids them all with ease.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Schittd has eaten all the pies!
Rinne scores with a jab to the head.
Rinne scores with a punch to the head.
Rinne walks straight into a right hand from Schittd - that's dropped him! Schittd jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rinne from any more punishment! Rinne complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jack Schittd!
A very excited looking Jack Schittd rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
