Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Speedy Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ulf Jensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Speedy Martinez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ulf Jensson! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinez feints and as Jensson raises his hands in defense, Martinez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jensson keeping full guard, as Martinez tries to pass. Jensson is adopting a defensive guard. Martinez wants to get up but he can't break Jensson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Jensson has Martinez pulled in close to control his posture. Martinez trying to control but Jensson is working from the bottom. Martinez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We're going to have a standup here because Speedy Martinez wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Martinez gets a double leg takedown into Jensson's guard. Martinez drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jensson dives on top into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jensson advances to half guard. Jensson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Let's hope that Jensson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. It looks like Jensson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ulf Jensson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Martinez lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jensson backs up against the cage.
Martinez is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Martinez misses with a takedown attempt - Jensson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Martinez gets caught flat footed, as Jensson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jensson tries to free his leg and advance position but Martinez is retaining full guard. Jensson controlling from the top position. Jensson is pushing down on Martinez's leg trying to pass to half guard. Martinez is fighting to maintain full guard but Jensson has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Martinez is trying to stand up here but Jensson is controlling him well. Jensson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Jensson moves nicely into side control. Jensson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Jensson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Martinez, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martinez seems a little lost for a moment, as Jensson dominates the positioning. Martinez is looking for a sweep. Jensson controlling from side mount. Jensson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Martinez's legs. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Martinez is trying to control Jensson's posture but Jensson avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ulf Jensson dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Martinez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jensson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Martinez with a lazy takedown attempt and Jensson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Martinez's guard. Jensson is pushing down on Martinez's leg trying to pass to half guard. Martinez is fighting to maintain full guard but Jensson has managed to sneak the leg through. Martinez moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jensson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Jensson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Martinez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jensson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jensson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jensson works a leg free and moves into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Jensson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Martinez! Jensson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jensson working for a guillotine from mount but Martinez is in no mood to give up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jensson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Martinez wants to get back to his feet.
Jensson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Martinez is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Jensson has taken his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jensson controlling the position well here. Martinez rolled but Jensson kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Jensson gets his hands free as Martinez looks to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martinez rolls, trying to escape but Jensson keeps control of the position.
Ulf Jensson has got the better of the ground game so far. Martinez controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Jensson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Martinez's body.
Martinez is trying to defend against the choke here but Jensson has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Jensson Tightens the hold and Martinez taps out furiously! Jensson displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ulf Jensson!
