Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakurai avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dynamite tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sakurai paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sakurai shoots in for a double leg but Dynamite sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

It looks like Takahiro Sakurai has been cut.

Dynamite steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sakurai.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sakurai.
Sakurai avoids the head kick by Dynamite.
Dynamite throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Sakurai crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
