Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parsons with a lazy takedown attempt
and Kiolia counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Parsons moves into the clinch.
Kiolia stops a takedown attempt from Parsons.
Parsons tries to score a body lock takedown but Kiolia shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Landon Parsons. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kiolia pulls guard.
Parsons trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Kiolia looking for a sweep. Not yet Kiolia, not yet.

Kiolia trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Kiolia looking for a guillotine here but Parsons defends easily.

Parsons slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Kiolia wants to stand and escape but Parsons is having none of it.
Parsons stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Kiolia shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kiolia is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Parsons doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kiolia.
Kiolia is trying to control. Parsons wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Well, if Kiolia is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kiolia wants to lay and pray for a moment but Parsons keeps working.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Parsons flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Parsons is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kiolia pulls his head out easily.
Parsons looking for a kimura from the bottom but Kiolia passes into side control!

Kiolia content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kiolia working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Parsons manages to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Parsons missing with punches from the bottom.
Kiolia is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Kiolia blocks the strikes from Parsons.
Kiolia controlling the pace.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kiolia connects with a nice short shot to Parsons's temple.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kiolia works his foot free and advances to mount.
Kiolia pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fred Kiolia dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Parsons doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kiolia throws a head kick but Parsons moves out of range.
Landon Parsons is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kiolia misses with the body kick
and Parsons counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Parsons gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kiolia to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Parsons manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Kiolia stops a takedown attempt from Parsons.
Parsons tries for a takedown. No joy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Parsons jumps guard but Kiolia stands there with Parsons around his waist. Parsons gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kiolia keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Parsons's head.
Kiolia is working Parsons over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Parsons is looking to take this one to the mat.

Parsons is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kiolia successfully pulls guard.
Kiolia has control of Parsons's left arm, preventing Parsons from doing any damage.
Kiolia lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Parsons!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Parsons wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Parsons could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Parsons won't enjoy being in this position. Kiolia looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Parsons is tapping - it's over boys! Kiolia picks up the submission victory!
