Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between AC Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). AC Hardy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, AC Hardy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Wilson! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hardy decides to stand back up. Hardy steps back and let's Wilson get back to his feet. Wilson with a poor takedown and Hardy counters with a shoot takedown. Wilson fights it but they end up in guard. Hardy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hardy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hardy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Wilson trying to control the position.
Hardy trying to control but Wilson is working from the bottom. Wilson is looking to stand up but Hardy isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hardy lands a couple of elbows. Hardy content to stall in guard here. Wilson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hardy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hardy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wilson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wilson has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardy is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Wilson wants to get up but he can't break Hardy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Wilson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Wilson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Hardy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson is trying to maintain a safe position but Hardy gets an underhook and turns Wilson into the cage. Hardy is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Wilson can't fight it off and eventually Hardy manages to take the fight to the floor. Wilson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hardy is breathing heavily. Wilson wants to sweep here but Hardy controlling him for the moment. Hardy pushes down on Wilson's leg and manages to get into half guard. Hardy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hardy blocks the strikes from Wilson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hardy lands with a punch from half guard. Wilson controlling the position well. Wilson pushes Hardy off looking to stand but Hardy dives back in and keeps control.
Wilson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Hardy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
AC Hardy dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A head kick from Wilson lands but Hardy takes it in his stride. Hardy wants to clinch. Wilson tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hardy counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Hardy trying to control the pace. Hardy stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Wilson to get to his feet. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Wilson, right into the meat.
Wilson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hardy counters with a takedown into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wilson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hardy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Wilson tries to escape but Hardy is in control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson is looking for a sweep. Wilson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hardy has just dragged him back down to the mat. Wilson is trying to escape the position but Hardy is controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Hardy content to control rather than advance. Hardy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wilson for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hardy is looking to advance position but Wilson won't allow it. Hardy prevents Wilson from standing back up.
Well, if Hardy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wilson moves into range and clinches up with Hardy. Wilson trying to stall but Hardy improves his position.
Hardy letting Wilson take a breather here. Wilson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

AC Hardy dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Hardy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hardy sitting and controlling from the half guard. Wilson pushes Hardy off looking to stand but Hardy dives back in and keeps control.
Hardy keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Wilson wants to improve his position but Hardy is controlling well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wilson wants to control but Hardy is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardy sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Wilson defending well though. Wilson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hardy is working away from the top position though. Wilson is looking to escape.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hardy scores with a takedown into Wilson's guard. Hardy wants to stand but Wilson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Wilson wants to stand up but Hardy is controlling him.

Wilson is looking to get back to full guard here but Hardy has managed to pass to side control instead. Wilson is trying to reverse the position but instead Hardy has taken his back - oops! Hardy biding his time, looking for the opening.

Wilson is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
AC Hardy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wilson wants to control his opponent's hands but Hardy gets his hands free. Wilson looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Hardy is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Wilson up.
Hardy has good solid back control here. James Wilson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hardy lands an elbow to the side of the head. Hardy lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Wilson hold on?!
Wilson is trying to stand back up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hardy landing with strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! AC Hardy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hardy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
