Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert De Morcerf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Morcerf is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Non, Je ne regrette Rien. Albert De Morcerf has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ernesto Hall's chin.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Albert De Morcerf! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall drives through and clinches with De Morcerf against the cage.
De Morcerf misses with a hook to the ribs.
De Morcerf being controlled against the cage. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Hall for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. De Morcerf jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hall walks away with a smile on his face. De Morcerf gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Hall darts in and clinches De Morcerf up against the cage. De Morcerf tries to pull guard but Hall forces him back to his feet, against the cage. De Morcerf wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hall has him pressed against the cage. Hall blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Morcerf tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hall just stands there and leans against the cage. Ernesto Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Albert De Morcerf. De Morcerf looks winded! Hall gets control of De Morcerf's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hall will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Hall looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Hall is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. De Morcerf is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hall moves into the clinch. De Morcerf jumps guard but Hall stands there with De Morcerf around his waist. De Morcerf gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hall postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. De Morcerf is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hall flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Hall wants to control but De Morcerf is keeping busy.

Hall knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for De Morcerf on the ground. Hall is controlling De Morcerf's trapped leg to prevent De Morcerf from advancing to side control. Hall is looking for a sweep. De Morcerf is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hall is staying active underneath De Morcerf, who seems content to just control the action from this position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. De Morcerf sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hall defending well though. Hall gets full guard. Hall is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Hall is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hall closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming De Morcerf to the mat! De Morcerf manages to get full guard. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. De Morcerf keeping moving, preventing Hall from controlling successfully. Hall postures up in De Morcerf's guard and throws a big left but De Morcerf blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

De Morcerf gets tackled into the cage by Hall. Hall maintains the clinch. De Morcerf fails to pull guard.
Hall has De Morcerf pressed against the cage, preventing De Morcerf from circling away and getting back to striking at range. De Morcerf is trying to break free. De Morcerf tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's one minute gone in the round. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Ernesto Hall. Hall moves into the clinch. Hall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hall shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches De Morcerf napping and manages to drive through into side control! De Morcerf wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! De Morcerf tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hall misses with an attempted head punch from side control. De Morcerf is trying to improve his position. De Morcerf wants to get back to his feet but Hall drags him back down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, De Morcerf has escaped the position, nice work there. Ernesto Hall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hall scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at De Morcerf to see if he's OK. Hall decides to stand back up. Hall clinches with his opponent.

Hall forces De Morcerf back against the cage and clinches. Hall's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Hall gets underhooks to prevent De Morcerf's takedown attempt.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
