Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gnaeus Maximilianus !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, San dan Glokta!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximilianus fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Glokta lands a right hook to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Glokta looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Glokta shoots in but Maximilianus avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Maximilianus tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Glokta lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Glokta shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Maximilianus but Maximilianus pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Maximilianus stuffs the takedown.
Gnaeus Maximilianus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of San dan Glokta.
Glokta lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Glokta throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Maximilianus counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Maximilianus takes one to the side of the head.
Maximilianus is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Glokta closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Glokta lands in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Glokta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maximilianus swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Maximilianus might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Glokta stands and throws Maximilianus 's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Glokta wants to control but Maximilianus is keeping him busy.
Maximilianus tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Glokta goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Maximilianus has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Glokta but great work by Maximilianus .
Glokta regains half guard.
Glokta is looking to improve his position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Glokta is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Maximilianus pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maximilianus has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Maximilianus wants to control from the top but Glokta keeps moving.
Maximilianus is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Glokta has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Maximilianus is looking to defend but Glokta has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Maximilianus ! Glokta pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Maximilianus taps out and this one is all over!
