The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leben misses with a two punch combination.

Fadda closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Leben's guard.
Fadda controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leben is looking to stand up but Fadda isn't so interested in that idea.
Fadda slips nicely into half guard.

Fadda is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
