Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seymour Taps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cage's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, "Blood on my Hands" by The Used. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seymour Taps! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taps stuffs the takedown. Cage could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Cage tries for a takedown but Taps sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Cage darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Taps makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Taps. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Taps controls Cage momentarily but Cage frees himself. Taps has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Cage off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Cage fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Cage. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cage is looking to clinch. Cage shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cage was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Cage dominating with strikes here. Taps tries to hold on but Cage postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taps tries to reverse the position but Cage maintains control. Cage looking to control but Taps is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Cage is trying to take his opponent's back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Taps preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Taps has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cage is working away from the top position though. Taps moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Taps has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cage can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Taps has a loose triangle. That's three minutes gone in the round. Cage is stalling in the full guard. Cage looking to sit in guard and control but Taps gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Taps trying to control but Cage is working from the bottom. Taps gets to his feet - Cage follows without any prompting.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. No luck for Cage with that takedown attempt. Cage is breathing heavily. Cage fails with a takedown attempt. Cage tries to clinch up but Taps circles away and keeps his distance. Cage shoots in looking for a takedown. Taps tries to sprawl out of it but Cage keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Taps manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Taps shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Taps was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Taps wants to control the pace but Cage is squirming around nicely. Cage is bucking up trying to escape but Taps cracks him with another couple of good strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seymour Taps dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Taps shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Taps is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Cage is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Cage flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Taps anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Cage and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Taps slips an arm under Cage chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Taps has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Taps is squeezing on Cage like an anaconda would it's prey. Cage fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
