And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Marquez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hernandez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Marquez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hernandez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Marquez is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hernandez to the mat. Hernandez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Hernandez has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Marquez has passed into side control.
Marquez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hernandez, who protects the arm well.

Marquez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hernandez has escaped the position, nice work there.
Marquez looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Marquez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hernandez can't do much from the bottom here.

Marquez is working to tighten his grip on Hernandez's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hernandez has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Marquez is really squeezing tight and eventually Hernandez passes out! Marquez breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
