Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Valdez!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valdez just misses with a punch to the body.
Valdez closes the distance but Norman moves to the side
and Norman counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Norman scoring with punches and elbows.
Norman staying calm.
Norman has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Valdez throws a sloppy body shot
and Norman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Valdez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Come on Norman - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Valdez is trying to push Norman away but Norman has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Valdez fails to pull guard.
Norman stalling the fight.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Gil Norman.
Valdez has managed to clinch.
Norman lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Norman manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Norman is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Valdez is defending well for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Valdez jumps guard but Norman stands there with Valdez around his waist. Valdez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gil Norman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Valdez.
Norman has Valdez pressed against the cage, preventing Valdez from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Valdez jumps into guard, dragging Norman to the mat.
Valdez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Norman controls the pace.
Norman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Valdez throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Valdez is working an open guard so Norman takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Valdez wants to clinch but Norman slips to the side
and Norman counters with a nice body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Valdez closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Gil Norman has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Valdez catches Norman with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Norman forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
